I started out in the car wash industry. I came across the laundromat business when my partners and I bought a car wash with an attached laundromat. The idea of owning my own laundromat intrigued me, so I changed my focus to the laundry business. It was a great business to get into and I admired how it was an essential resource for the neighborhood. So I built Pearl laundry from scratch so that I could have a business that was helpful to my community.
